The host, Matthew, truly made our stay memorable with his warm welcome - offering us tea to warm ourselves from the dreary Scottish rain. The rooms were immaculate and spacious, decorated in a striking mix of Victorian-modern style that truly resonated with my love for conservation and authenticity. I appreciated the quiet location, nestled on a residential street, yet so close to Edinburgh's vibrant life. We didn't indulge in breakfast due to our tight schedule, but I heard rave reviews about the cooked Scottish breakfast prepared each morning. Fraoch House is a delightful find, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm, ideal for both business travelers and those seeking to savor the essence of Edinburgh.
